Great White Whale House uses this website to show the property, display availability and prepare direct booking enquiries. The public website does not take online payments.

Booking enquiries

The booking form asks for your name, email address, phone number, dates, guest count and an optional note. WhatsApp and the email-app option open a prepared message for you to review and send. When the direct-send option is available, submitting it sends these details to Tim through Brevo, our transactional email provider. Your email address is used as the reply-to address so Tim can respond. An enquiry is not a confirmed reservation.

The website does not save enquiry messages in its booking database. Sent messages are handled by the email provider and Tim’s mailbox. Please avoid including payment details or sensitive personal information. Contact Tim to request access to or deletion of your enquiry.

Language preference

The site stores your language choice on your device so it can keep the interface in English, Afrikaans or German. This preference is not used for advertising.

Availability and owner access

The public calendar reads available and reserved dates from the property’s private control panel. The owner area uses an authentication cookie and is not intended for public search indexing.

Guest comments

When you submit a guest comment, the website stores the name, star rating, comment and submission date. Comments rated four or five stars may appear in the public guest showcase. Do not include private contact, payment or health information in a comment.

Third-party services

Links to WhatsApp, email, Airbnb and Booking.com open external services that apply their own privacy policies and terms.
